About the Role
CCK is seeking a Remote Web Developer to maintain and enhance our WordPress website, improve user experience, and support our digital marketing initiatives. This is a contract role for 6–7 months, ideal for developers who enjoy combining web development, SEO, and analytics to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Maintain, update, and improve the WordPress website (content updates, bug fixes, performance enhancements).
- Implement UX/UI improvements and site enhancements in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Manage CMS content publishing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot website functionality issues, including forms and integrations.
- Support website migrations, updates, and plugin management.
- Maintain and renew domain registrations.
SEO, Analytics & Optimization
- Implement SEO best practices, focusing on on-page and technical SEO.
- Monitor SEO performance and SERP rankings using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Optimize landing pages and user funnels to improve conversions.
- Support A/B and multivariate testing initiatives.
Digital Marketing & Vendor Support
- Assist in execution and tracking of digital marketing campaigns (email, paid search, landing pages).
- Collaborate with vendors and consultants for website and marketing tool integrations.
- Stay current on web development best practices, emerging technologies, and usability standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in web development, WordPress management, or similar role
- Hands-on WordPress experience, including WP Engine environments
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (within WordPress context)
- Experience with at least one modern JS framework (React, Svelte, etc.)
- Proven SEO/SEM implementation experience
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush)
- Excel or similar data analysis skills
- Experience optimizing landing pages, user flows, and conversions
- Experience with A/B or multivariate testing
- Knowledge of third-party API and marketing technology integrations
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues across browsers and devices
- Strong independent work ethic and remote collaboration skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in web development/web management
