Responsibilities:
– Create, manage and launch customized CMS applications
– Implement SEO best practices for better ranking on SERP
– Build pop-ups and manage triggers as required
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams and respective stakeholders to meet brand’s content standards and guidelines
– Ensure website optimization across browsers
– Identify and fix issues for better performance
– Suggest improvements to keep the application updated with the latest technical advancements
– Prepare and maintain adequate documentation for future reference
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
– At least 3+ years of software development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
– Experience working with CMS technologies such as WordPress, Woocommerce, Magento, Opencart, Drupal, etc.
– Solid understanding of CMS themes and plug-ins
– Knowledge of technologies including, PHP, Java, C#, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
– Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
– Strong grasp on English language for effective communication
– Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills:
– Expertise with both back-end and front-end development
– Proficiency with version control tools like Git or SVN
– Ability to optimize existing themes or build a customized one from scratch
– Experience in working with web analytics tools
– Familiarity with one or more video editing software
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
