Job Overview

Quanta Tech Systems Europe is hiring a skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in VPN infrastructure to design, deploy, and scale secure backend systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on security-focused architecture, distributed systems, and high-availability infrastructure.

You will play a key role in building and optimizing VPN-based platforms, collaborating closely with infrastructure and product teams to ensure performance, compliance, and security across multi-region environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain secure VPN solutions such as WireGuard, OpenVPN, and IPsec.
• Design backend architectures supporting authentication, encryption, key management, and session handling.
• Integrate VPN services with backend systems including routing, monitoring, logging, and access control.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant systems across multi-region deployments.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security for high-traffic environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and product teams to meet compliance and regulatory standards.
• Ensure best practices in secure backend development and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience deploying and managing commercial VPN solutions.
• Strong backend development background using one or more of the following:
  PHP, Go, Rust, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of networking, encryption protocols, and session management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience working with multi-region or distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in crypto, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Contributions to open-source VPN, security, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance-driven development.
