About the Role
As a Regional Maintenance Manager, you will lead and transform maintenance operations across multiple sites in your region. This role blends strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development with hands-on operational problem-solving. You’ll oversee Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop preventative maintenance programs, and drive operational excellence across the regional footprint.
You will balance proactive planning with real-time emergency response while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Travel domestically up to 80% will be required to support regional sites and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop Maintenance Managers, Area Maintenance Managers, service technicians, and automation engineers across multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and oversee regional department budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational performance across all sites.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, partnering with site Safety leadership for audits and implementation.
- Manage capital spending plans, perform cost analysis, coordinate external contractors, and maintain high-quality service standards.
- Travel regionally to provide hands-on guidance, participate in network-level initiatives, and ensure operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
- 4+ years of budget management, RCA, and CI implementation experience.
- 4+ years managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 4+ years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading network-level/multi-site maintenance organizations.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators.
- Experience in project management and statistical analysis.
- Master’s degree or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
