Are you passionate about working with youth and creating safe, fun environments? Join our team as a Teen Program Assistant in our Recreation Employment program, where you’ll help organize and support engaging activities for teens in your community.
About the Role
You’ll assist Recreation Leaders in planning, supervising, and running teen-centered programs such as sports, arts, events, and workshops. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals interested in youth work, education, or recreation.
️ Key Responsibilities:
- Support staff in organizing recreational activities and special teen events
- Assist with setup, supervision, and breakdown of programs
- Help maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment for all teens
- Track participation and assist with light data entry or attendance logs
- Be a positive role model and mentor to participants
- Ages 16+ with an interest in working with youth
- Reliable, friendly, and team-oriented
- Comfortable leading or assisting in group activities
- Able to work flexible hours (after school, evenings, or weekends)
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain during training)
Pay & Details:
- Pay Rate: $15–$20/hour
- 10–20 hours per week
- Positions available seasonally or year-round
- Work at local parks, recreation centers, or community hubs
