About the Role

Olsson is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join its Data Center Civil Team, working on some of the largest hyperscale and colocation data center campuses across the United States. This role offers opportunities to serve as both a project manager and lead design engineer, contributing to complex engineering projects that support critical digital infrastructure.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and consultants while helping develop standards, deliver designs, and ensure quality across projects. Travel to job sites and client meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering design and project delivery for large data center developments.
  • Prepare planning and design documents, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Serve as project manager on select projects and lead engineer on others.
  • Develop and maintain team and client standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants.
  • Support QA/QC processes and provide technical advisory on complex issues.
  • Attend client meetings and perform site observations when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Minimum 6+ years of related project experience.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D or similar design software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
