About the Role

As Principal Product Manager – Selection, you will own and drive the multi-year strategy to optimize selection, vendor partnerships, pricing, and in-stock performance for Amazon Now.

You will work across Retail, Operations, Finance, Tech, and Business teams to create localized and highly curated assortments that delight customers while accelerating growth. Your work will directly impact the shopping experience for millions of customers and play a key role in strengthening the Amazon flywheel.

This role requires strategic vision, operational rigor, strong stakeholder leadership, and deep product expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Selection Strategy & Growth

  • Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for Amazon Now selection
  • Build localized, demand-driven assortments tailored to customer needs
  • Drive initiatives that improve pricing, availability, and customer experience

Vendor & Partnership Management

  • Own vendor promotions, partnerships, and performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to expand strategic supplier relationships
  • Optimize promotional strategies to increase engagement and conversion

Product & Operational Excellence

  • Partner cross-functionally to improve operational processes that support ultra-fast delivery
  • Balance feature tradeoffs to maximize customer experience and business impact
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions

Executive Influence & Leadership

  • Work across operational, technical, retail, and finance teams to align priorities
  • Present vision, roadmap, and performance insights to senior leadership
  • Drive execution across complex, highly matrixed organizations

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product, program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • 10+ years leading strategic initiatives involving process creation, standardization, and improvement
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience managing feature tradeoffs and product lifecycle decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner

  • Experience owning and scaling technology products
  • Proven track record of building and growing new businesses
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
