Salary: $107,000 – $216,000 USD per year + potential bonus/variable compensation

Role Overview

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of enterprise web and middle-tier applications for Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS). You will collaborate with technical and business partners to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions that support financial advisors and their clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-stack development with Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Mentor, guide, and inspire fellow engineers while enforcing software standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate on the design of new features and improvements using Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Build and deploy applications leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Develop and maintain REST, SOAP, JSON, XML web services.
  • Implement unit testing, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.
  • Use GitHub for source control, pull requests, and collaborative development.
  • Present complex technical solutions to senior management, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and frameworks to continually improve development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years full-stack software development experience in enterprise applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on leadership experience guiding engineering teams and ensuring high-quality code.
  • Strong experience with Agile Scrum, web services, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical presentation skills.
