About the Role
eero, an Amazon company, is expanding its business Wi-Fi solutions beyond the home into commercial enterprises. As the Principal, Enterprise Business Development, you will drive revenue growth for eero’s enterprise segment by developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, defining strategies to engage end customers, and building partnerships with Service Providers (SPs) and enterprise business units. This strategic role allows you to shape how eero grows its commercial presence across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Scale ISP Sales Pipeline: Develop and manage an enterprise sales pipeline anchored on SPs and commercial business units.
- Engage End Customers: Design go-to-market strategies to win in verticals such as multi-site retail, coffee shops, apartment complexes, and startups.
- Establish the Funnel: Define sales cycles, target profiles, and maintain a qualified funnel with disciplined reporting.
- Territory & Partner Strategy: Build coverage models and SP segmentation to maximize reach, conversion, and efficiency.
- Amazon Alignment: Collaborate with Amazon and AWS stakeholders to accelerate business opportunities.
- Expansion: Identify early adopters for new hardware products.
- Equip the Field: Partner with Product Marketing to develop messaging, sales assets, and buyer personas.
- Drive Discipline: Ensure CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and operational excellence.
- Smooth Handoffs: Transition closed accounts to Customer Success teams with full documentation.
- Travel: Up to 50% nationally to support sales efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years in business development, sales, or consulting roles.
- 7+ years solving technology-related problems across industries including Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Automotive & Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities.
- 7+ years working with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Security, Networking).
- 7+ years experience with Business Application Technologies (EUC, Contact Center, Supply Chain, Data Applications, Encrypted Communications).
- 7+ years with Advanced Compute, Enterprise Application Modernization, Data & AI technologies.
- Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder, executive, practice leader, or business unit owner.
- Proven success selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $158,400 – $262,000 per year (based on geographic location and experience).
- Total compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits.
