We are looking for a skilled PHP Web Developer with strong backend expertise and solid database knowledge to build scalable, maintainable web applications.

🔧 Core Responsibilities

  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by frontend developers
  • Develop and deploy new features to enhance website functionality
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-structured PHP code
  • Build custom modules and extend website functionality
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Maintain and update web applications using standard development tools
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
  • Design and implement RESTful services & APIs
  • Develop innovative web tools for community building and activism platforms

🛠 Technical Requirements

💻 Backend & Programming

  • Strong proficiency in PHP (2–5 years experience)
  • Strong OOP concepts & logical thinking
  • RESTful APIs & JSON handling

🗄 Database Knowledge

  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Interest in NoSQL databases like Redis and CouchDB

🌐 Frontend Skills

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • Bootstrap
  • Ajax
  • jQuery
  • JavaScript

⚙ Frameworks & CMS Experience

Experience with one or more frameworks:

  • Laravel
  • Symfony
  • Zend Framework
  • Rails (optional exposure)

CMS platforms:

  • Drupal
  • WordPress
  • TYPO3

E-Commerce experience (Preferred):

  • Magento
