Project Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP developer to troubleshoot, fix errors, and optimize our website. Your role will ensure all features function smoothly and performance is improved across the site. This is a critical task to enhance user experience, reliability, and site efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve PHP errors and warnings across the website
  • Debug backend issues to ensure all features work as intended
  • Optimize website performance and loading speed
  • Review existing code for potential improvements and maintainability
  • Ensure compatibility with databases, APIs, and third-party integrations
  • Test fixes across multiple browsers and devices to ensure stability

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with PHP (Core & Frameworks like Laravel / CodeIgniter / WordPress)
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting PHP applications
  • Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for front-end interaction
  • Familiarity with website performance optimization and caching techniques
  • Git or version control experience
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla)
  • Knowledge of server configuration and hosting environments
  • Understanding of SEO-friendly coding and website best practices
