Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our 2nd shift team in the Data Entry 503A department. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering prescription data, ensuring proper medication handling, and supporting the team with vital administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with pharmacy experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription orders and medication data into the system
• Verify patient information and ensure prescriptions are complete and correct
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Communicate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy data entry
• Assist in maintaining inventory and preparing medications for distribution
• Perform routine audits to ensure data integrity and confidentiality

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Strong experience with data entry in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with 503A compounding regulations and pharmacy practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (specify hours if needed)
