We are seeking a PeopleSoft/Workday Data Conversion Specialist to join a critical transformation project for a client based in New York, NY. This position will begin remotely with the possibility of an onsite transition.

Role Overview:

The PeopleSoft/Workday Data Conversion Specialist will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) HR and financial data from PeopleSoft systems into Workday. You’ll work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure a smooth and accurate migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end data conversion activities from PeopleSoft to Workday.
• Extract data from PeopleSoft, transform it per Workday requirements, and load it accurately into Workday environments.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and technical teams to gather data requirements and map legacy data to Workday structures.
• Validate data quality, perform reconciliation, and troubleshoot data issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all conversion processes.
• Support data audits, unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production cutover activities.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HRMS/Finance and Workday HCM/Finance systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Proficiency in Workday EIBs, Workday Studio, and Workday integrations preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with SQL and data mapping methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
