Overview

Dagmar Marketing is seeking a highly experienced SEO Digital Marketing Account Manager for a part-time, fully remote role with potential to transition into full-time. This role is designed for professionals whose primary responsibility has been SEO account management within a digital marketing agency for at least three years. The position requires proven expertise in SEO strategy, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple SEO campaigns while serving as the main point of contact for clients. The role emphasizes integrity, professionalism, self-direction, and trust in a flexible remote work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working solely in the SEO field as an account manager
  • Proven experience developing SEO strategies
  • GA4 proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong foundation in SEO strategy
  • Client-focused mindset with experience serving as the primary point of contact
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Marketing with a strong understanding of technical SEO
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with link building while representing a brand professionally
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Bright Local
  • Proficiency in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

Responsibilities

  • Take a consultative approach to advising clients on SEO trends and digital marketing goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO campaigns
  • Communicate in a relatable, non-technical manner
  • Write meeting notes and action items
  • Onboard new clients
  • Set up keyword tracking and ranking reports
  • Develop SEO and content strategies
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports
  • Communicate content publication updates
  • Follow up on assigned action items with responsible parties
  • Stay up to date on all client SEO projects and strategies
  • Lead client calls and meetings to discuss campaign status, strategy, and next steps (conditional upon full-time transition)
  • Monitor campaign budgets and performance and adjust strategies to improve results
  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO analysis
  • Use Google Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager
  • Manage projects and align efforts across departments
  • Analyze data, solve problems, and meet project deadlines
