About the Role
Braven is hiring a Part-Time Campus Engagement Specialist to support student recruitment and engagement at our Higher Education Partner, the University of North Texas (UNT), for Spring 2026.
In this role, you will recruit and enroll 200–250 students (Fellows) into the Braven Accelerator course while strengthening Braven’s presence on campus. You’ll collaborate closely with regional and national teammates and report directly to the Senior Director of the Dallas–Fort Worth Region.
What You’ll Do
Student Recruitment & Enrollment (55%)
- Support strategic and creative recruitment efforts through social media, word-of-mouth, and campus events
- Track recruitment pipelines and data using Salesforce and Google Suite
- Analyze weekly recruitment data with your manager to inform outreach strategy
- Assist with recruitment presentations, materials, and tabling events
- Host and coordinate on-campus recruitment events
Student Engagement (20%)
- Build and maintain relationships with student organizations and campus partners
- Attend meetings and create new engagement opportunities for students
- Collect and share feedback and data on engagement strategies
- Share your own college experience to inspire students and promote career readiness
Team Collaboration & Culture (15%)
- Participate in virtual and in-person team meetings, trainings, and planning sessions
- Engage in synchronous and asynchronous Pre-Accelerator meetings
- Support additional campus engagement initiatives as needed
Social Media & Marketing (10%)
- Provide design input and feedback on marketing campaigns and materials
- Collect and share compelling student stories with Communications and External Affairs teams
- Support social media content creation (posts, graphics, flyers, one-pagers)
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in student engagement, recruitment, social media, or marketing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- UNT alumni, recent graduates, or current graduate students
- Experience in nonprofit or student-facing roles
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, and Jira
- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using data and metrics to guide decision-making
- High adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
- Demonstrated alignment with Braven’s mission and core values
Work Demands
- Hybrid work on UNT’s Denton campus
- Travel to 2–3 regional DFW events per semester
- Availability for 2–3 weekend events per semester
- Ability to lift and carry 20–50 lbs for recruitment materials
- Valid Texas driver’s license required

Location & Schedule
