Job Description

Charvi Associates is seeking a skilled Opencart / WordPress Web Designer or Developer to work remotely on interactive and dynamic websites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms, with a focus on creating visually appealing and functional websites.

The candidate will work closely with the team to design, develop, and maintain websites while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and high-quality UI/UX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive and dynamic websites using Opencart and WordPress
  • Hand-code HTML pages without WYSIWYG editors
  • Implement CSS for layout, typography, and responsive design
  • Enhance websites with JavaScript functionality
  • Optimize graphics and animations for web performance
  • Work on UI design, ensuring visually appealing layouts
  • Troubleshoot cross-browser issues (Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE)
  • Integrate PHP functionality (if applicable)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Opencart eCommerce CMS
  • Experience with WordPress CMS
  • Strong hand-coding skills in HTML (DreamWeaver or WYSIWYG editors not acceptable)
  • Proficient in CSS and web standards
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Understanding of typography, layout, color composition
  • Experience optimizing web graphics and animations
  • Knowledge of PHP is a plus
  • Experience with Flash animations and ActionScript is a bonus
