English360 is an online ESL school based in Toronto, Canada. We offer a variety of ESL classes to students from all around the world in small groups of up to 6 students and one-on-one. We specialize in IELTS and CELPIP preparation courses, which makes your experience in these areas, in addition to teaching ESL, a valuable asset.

We are currently seeking to hire an ESL Instructor for adults for evening hours (from 7 to 10 pm) and occasional weekends (during the first part of the day) in the EST timezone. It’s important that a candidate speaks Russian because the students you’ll be working with are either complete beginners or have a lower level of English, and their first language is either Russian or Ukrainian.

The candiadte must be friendly and enthusiastic, while also being responsible, reliable, and possessing strong organizational skills. We would be interested hiring someone who enjoys teaching, and motivated to share their knowledge, inspire students, and assist them in reaching their goals. Additionally, the instructor must be proactive, open to modern teaching methods and technologies, capable of conducting research, utilizing up-to-date resources effectively, and committed to professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Russian language
• Solid English grammar knowledge and clear pronunciation
• High-speed internet, a computer, and a quality headset/microphone
• Confident PC user
• Fluent in English with clear and articulate pronunciation
• Attention to detail
• High level of literacy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Teaching experience in IELTS/CELPIP considered an asset
• ESL Teaching certificates and diplomas viewed as assets
• Certificates in exams like IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP, or others seen as assets

Must be:
• Speak Russian language
• Proficient in utilizing Zoom functionality to conduct productive lessons.
• Capable of writing customized lesson plans based on provided materials.
• Competent in setting clear, measurable goals for lessons and employing effective strategies to achieve them.
• Skillful in implementing the company’s teaching methods, standards, and recommendations.
• Adaptable to working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Capable at simplifying complex concepts into easily understandable language.
• Proficient in utilising Google and other internet resources effectively and autonomously.

We provide orientation session and trainings if needed as well as ongoing academic support to our team of instructors to ensure high teaching standards. Instructors are required to conduct well-prepared lessons.

At ‘English360’, classes are recorded for the purpose of feedback, student progress monitoring, and the documentation of the learning process

The probation period is 3 months but could be shortened if you demostrate good results. Working hours will be provided gradually within the first month.

To start the interview process, you’ll be asked to send a short introductory video of yourself along with your resume. The second step will involve an interview and a demo lesson with the successful candidate.
