Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Odoo developer / consultant to:

  1. Install Odoo 19 Community Version on a personal desktop.
  2. Make it accessible online for web usage.
  3. Perform customizations and data migration from Odoo 16 Community Version.
  4. Optional: Revamp and rebrand our website (https://vibrantoccassions.com) into a fully functional e-commerce platform integrated with Odoo.

Scope of Work

1. Odoo 19 Installation & Online Setup

  • Install Odoo 19 Community on desktop.
  • Make Odoo accessible online securely via web.
  • Ensure proper backups and security settings.

2. Data Migration & Customizations

  • Migrate existing data from Odoo 16 Community to Odoo 19.
  • Update Payment Links to include the sales invoice prefix (e.g., S01111-INV/2026/00030).
  • Enable eSign for Quotes (if available in Community edition).

Sales Module Customizations:

  • Add Order Type field (dropdown list).
  • Add Event Date & Time From/To (Date Picker).
  • Rename Delivery Date to Pickup/Delivery Date.
  • Add Customer Order Note (free text) and Internal Order Note.

Sales Order Template / Client PDF:

  • Include all new fields: Order Type, Event Date & Time, Pickup/Delivery Date, Customer Order Note.

Invoice Screen & PDF Template:

  • Carry over all fields from Sales.
  • Include Order Type, Event Date & Time, Pickup/Delivery Date, Customer Order Note, Internal Order Note.

Delivery Slip PDF:

  • Include all custom fields from Sales and Invoice.

Inventory Screen Customizations:

  • Rearrange columns to include Source Document/SO #, Order Type, Event Date & Time, Pickup/Delivery Date, Customer Order Note, Internal Order Note.

3. Website Revamp & E-commerce Integration (Optional)

  • Port the existing website (https://vibrantoccassions.com) to Odoo.
  • Integrate products and services for direct ordering via Odoo.
  • Implement branding, styling, and responsive design for a professional e-commerce experience.

Deliverables

  1. Fully functional Odoo 19 Community installation online.
  2. Migrated data from Odoo 16.
  3. Customized Sales, Invoice, Delivery, and Inventory modules as described.
  4. Optional: Revamped e-commerce website integrated with Odoo.
  5. Documentation for setup, customizations, and future maintenance.

Proposal Requirements

Please provide two separate cost estimates:

  1. Odoo setup with full customizations and data migration
  2. Odoo setup + full website revamp into e-commerce

  • Technology and hosting recommendations
  • Any dependencies or assumptions
