📝 Job Description

The NodeJS Backend Developer will be responsible for designing and building prototype backend systems that enhance customer experience, enable innovative user experiences, and increase store revenue. The role involves research, innovation, and high-quality engineering delivery within a collaborative environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Research, prototype, and develop software solutions to solve retail-related problems.
  • Design and build backend systems using NodeJS.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously learn new tools, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with peers across multiple disciplines including product, marketing, and design teams.
  • Deliver projects on time with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and engineering excellence.

🎓 Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience creating APIs using NodeJS and developing software solutions for real-world problems.
  • 7+ years of strong foundation in relational and NoSQL database principles.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microservices or SOA Architecture and various design patterns.
  • 5+ years of experience using CI/CD tools for containerized deployments and cloud architecture.
  • Familiarity with Queues/Topics (pub/sub), Kafka, or other data-streaming frameworks.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms including JWT and OAuth.
