We are seeking an experienced .NET Web Developer III to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform with GIS integrations. This role supports critical applications for the External Services Division and offers the opportunity for additional hours throughout the year based on project needs.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, GIS integrations (Esri), and Oracle databases, along with experience working in Agile environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality applications while following best practices and development standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Build and enhance web applications using C#, VB.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Integrate GIS solutions using Esri JavaScript APIs
  • Develop and maintain Oracle database solutions, stored procedures, and SQL queries
  • Create and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services
  • Develop reports using SSRS
  • Participate in testing activities including test planning, execution, and documentation
  • Follow SDLC processes, coding standards, and IT best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through debugging and analysis
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver projects from initiation to deployment
  • Maintain source code, repositories, and deployments using Azure DevOps

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET application development
  • Strong experience with:
    • C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC
    • JavaScript, Bootstrap
    • Object-Oriented Design principles
  • 2+ years of GIS experience, preferably with Esri JavaScript APIs
  • 8+ years working with Oracle databases, SQL, and stored procedures
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (repositories, version control, CI/CD)
  • Experience implementing security best practices in custom applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Technical documentation experience
  • SharePoint development experience
  • Government or public sector project experience
  • Knowledge of IT standards and compliance environments
