Role Overview
This position is for a highly skilled .NET Web Developer III / Application Architect to design, develop, and maintain web applications for employment programs in Wisconsin. You will work on distributed web-based systems, supporting both state and federally mandated projects, including Wisconsin Work Programs (WWP), CARES Worker Web (CWW), ACCESS, and MyAccess systems.
The role combines hands-on development, architecture design, and project leadership, ensuring applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and Angular.
- Analyze system requirements, perform multi-layered object-oriented design, and implement solutions for state/federal employment programs.
- Support existing applications while developing new distributed web-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain unit tests, system tests, and user acceptance test plans.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Evaluate and recommend programming languages, design tools, and application frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance on architecture and development best practices.
