Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphics Designer to join their dynamic marketing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US . This role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing engaging animated graphics and visual content for a variety of platforms, including digital advertising, social media, corporate presentations, and video productions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic eye, a mastery of motion graphics software, and a proven ability to translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives. You will be instrumental in enhancing our brand’s visual communication and engaging our target audience through innovative motion design.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for various projects. Develop storyboards and concepts for animated sequences. Collaborate with marketing, design, and video production teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Incorporate graphic design, typography, and illustration into motion graphics projects. Edit and assemble final animated projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and deadlines. Optimize motion graphics for different platforms and resolutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest motion graphics trends, software, and techniques. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity. Provide creative input and suggestions for visual storytelling. Ensure brand consistency across all motion graphics outputs. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to motion graphics production. Source and integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse motion graphics work. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Solid understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and visual design. Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus. Excellent creative and artistic skills. Strong understanding of video production workflows and formats. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing polished, high-quality work. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
This position requires you to be on-site at our facilities in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US , to effectively collaborate with the creative team and utilize our studio resources.
