📝 Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Meter Data Analyst to join the East Central Energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and validating meter data to ensure accurate energy usage reporting and billing. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for identifying trends, errors, and inefficiencies within meter data systems.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from electric meters and related systems.
  • Identify discrepancies, data gaps, and anomalies in meter readings.
  • Generate reports to support billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data inconsistencies or system errors.
  • Maintain and update meter databases and documentation.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements for data accuracy.
  • Assist in system upgrades, testing, and integration of new metering technologies.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis or utility metering systems.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, or other data management tools.
  • Understanding of AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and SCADA systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
