Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze patient records to ensure proper coding.
  • Assign standard ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and coding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify unclear documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient records.
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding standards and industry changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience

  • Freshers welcome – complete training provided.
  • Experienced coders (1–3 years) considered for senior or specialized roles with higher compensation.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
  • Flexible shifts (Day/Evening/Night) depending on project and location.
  • Work-from-office, with hybrid options for experienced candidates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Knowledge of medical coding systems: ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to data accuracy.
