Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Web Developer – a marketer with strong technical skills, not a traditional software engineer. You will own the technical execution of marketing web experiences, ensuring campaigns launch quickly, are tracked accurately, and continuously optimized for conversion.
Primary focus: building and maintaining marketing web assets (landing pages, microsites, content hubs) using HubSpot CMS and Webflow, while supporting analytics, experimentation, and marketing technology integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Web Execution
- Build and maintain landing pages, microsites, and marketing web experiences using HubSpot CMS (primary) and Webflow.
- Customize templates and modules using HubL, HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript as needed.
- Translate marketing concepts and design mockups into conversion-focused web pages.
- Partner with demand generation, content, and design teams to support campaign launches.
- Support marketing website rebuilds and content hub initiatives.
Marketing Analytics, Tracking & Optimization
- Manage Google Tag Manager implementations across marketing properties.
- Ensure accurate setup of Google Analytics and HubSpot analytics for campaign tracking.
- Support marketing technology integrations (forms, CRM connections, API integrations).
- Manage cookie consent and tracking compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Assist with A/B testing and CRO initiatives, using data to optimize performance.
- Build and maintain marketing dashboards linking web activity to campaign outcomes.
Website Maintenance & Performance
- Maintain marketing web assets, content updates, and performance improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve page speed, usability, and conversions.
- Troubleshoot front-end and tracking issues promptly.
Requirements
Core Requirements
- 3–5 years experience working on marketing websites or campaign assets.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS, including templates, modules, HubL, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building marketing pages in Webflow, or ability to ramp up quickly.
- Practical experience with Google Tag Manager, analytics tagging, and marketing tracking.
- Solid understanding of marketing funnels, lead generation, and CRO.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to execute designs accurately.
- Portfolio showcasing marketing landing pages, microsites, or campaign web experiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing operations or MarTech integrations.
- Familiarity with API-based integrations for marketing tools.
- Experience running or supporting A/B tests and CRO experiments.
- Experience working with external agencies on marketing web projects.
