Job Overview
Razorfish is seeking an experienced Manager, Data Science and Analytics to join its innovative Data Science and Analytics practice. This team delivers high-impact, data-driven insights and strategic consulting to clients across industries, partnering closely with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Media, Search, Social, UX, Technology, and Client Management.
In this full-time leadership role, you will manage end-to-end analytics projects, guide client strategy through data insights, and help organizations improve marketing effectiveness through advanced measurement, segmentation, testing frameworks, and optimization solutions. You will also collaborate with data leadership and analysts to drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of internal and client data projects from planning through delivery
- Translate business objectives into actionable data strategies and analytics solutions
- Manage cross-capability initiatives and build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams
- Lead client presentations, requirements gathering, and implementation of data tools and products
- Develop expertise in areas such as business intelligence, forecasting, testing, modeling, or visualization
- Deliver performance reporting, measurement frameworks, segmentation strategies, and optimization insights
- Serve as the primary day-to-day analytics contact for client stakeholders
- Transform complex data into compelling visual stories and executive-level presentations
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development
Required Qualifications
Data Strategy & Business Acumen
- Ability to independently identify business challenges and analytics opportunities
- Strong critical thinking skills to improve marketing effectiveness and data maturity
- Experience applying strategic frameworks to client-specific business needs
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with executive audiences
- Ability to lead discussions, present alternative solutions, and influence stakeholders
- Proven experience creating client deliverables from scratch with minimal oversight
Client Engagement
- Experience managing multiple client programs or projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of business fundamentals including financials, competitive landscape, and marketing channels
- Professional presence and relationship-building skills
Tools & Technical Skills
- Mastery of multiple analytics tools, platforms, and methodologies
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, testing frameworks, and marketing analytics methodologies
