As a Live Chat Support Representative, you will assist Amazon customers via live chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide live chat support to Amazon customers, resolving issues related to orders, product details, refunds, and more.
  • Respond promptly to all customer messages while maintaining response time targets.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while troubleshooting customer problems.
  • Accurately document customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Follow company policies to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex cases or technical issues.
  • Stay updated on Amazon products, services, and policies to provide accurate information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to grammar, spelling, and clarity.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with computers and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, CRM tools).
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills, managing multiple chat conversations effectively.
  • Quiet workspace with stable internet connection for remote work.

Experience

  • Previous customer service experience (chat support or call center) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with handling high volumes of customer interactions is beneficial.

Working Hours

  • Part-time remote position with flexible hours.
  • Evening and weekend availability may be required.
  • Shifts range between 10–20 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of Amazon products, services, and policies (training provided).
  • Patience and professionalism when dealing with frustrated or irate customers.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and speed.
  • Proficiency in typing (minimum 40 WPM).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, chat platforms, and order management systems is a plus.
