As a Live Chat Support Representative, you will assist Amazon customers via live chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide live chat support to Amazon customers, resolving issues related to orders, product details, refunds, and more.
- Respond promptly to all customer messages while maintaining response time targets.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while troubleshooting customer problems.
- Accurately document customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow company policies to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain brand integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex cases or technical issues.
- Stay updated on Amazon products, services, and policies to provide accurate information.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to grammar, spelling, and clarity.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with computers and basic office software (e.g., MS Office, CRM tools).
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills, managing multiple chat conversations effectively.
- Quiet workspace with stable internet connection for remote work.
Experience
- Previous customer service experience (chat support or call center) is a plus but not required.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with handling high volumes of customer interactions is beneficial.
Working Hours
- Part-time remote position with flexible hours.
- Evening and weekend availability may be required.
- Shifts range between 10–20 hours per week.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of Amazon products, services, and policies (training provided).
- Patience and professionalism when dealing with frustrated or irate customers.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and speed.
- Proficiency in typing (minimum 40 WPM).
- Familiarity with CRM systems, chat platforms, and order management systems is a plus.
