Role Overview

We are looking for smart, self-motivated Liferay / Java Developers who are passionate about building enterprise portal applications. You will work in a collaborative agile environment using modern web development tools and frameworks while contributing to portal development, performance improvements, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Portal Development

  • Design and develop enterprise portals using Liferay.
  • Build scalable and maintainable modules, plugins, and components.
  • Customize and extend Liferay features based on project requirements.

Application Development

  • Develop backend services using Java, Spring, Struts, and Hibernate.
  • Work with REST and SOAP APIs for system integrations.
  • Implement efficient database queries and stored procedures.

Frontend Development

  • Develop responsive UI components using:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • jQuery
    • AJAX
    • XML

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
  • Work with production environments and ensure stability.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Collaboration

  • Work in an Agile development environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
  • Contribute ideas to improve development processes.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience with Liferay UI design and development.
  • Experience working with Liferay plugins.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
    • Velocity
    • AJAX
    • XML
    • MySQL
  • Experience working in production environments and performance tuning.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology.
