Graduate Programme Overview (12 Months)
Xapo Bank’s Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious law graduates at the beginning of their careers who want to accelerate professional growth and make a real-world impact in Fintech, Banking, and Blockchain.
During this 12-month contract, successful graduates will gain hands-on experience, solve meaningful challenges, and collaborate with industry-leading professionals—with the opportunity to transition into a full-time Xapien upon successful completion of the programme.
Position Overview
As a Legal Graduate Trainee, you will be immersed in the inner workings of a high-performing Legal Team operating within a regulated, global financial environment. This role offers exposure to corporate, regulatory, compliance, and LegalTech operations, supporting Xapo Bank’s mission and growth.
You will work closely with legal professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain invaluable experience in a fast-evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
Time Management & Team Coordination
- Coordinate workflows and manage Legal Team tools and platforms
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and manage diaries
- Receive, distribute, and prioritize legal requests and tasks
- Ensure balanced workload distribution across the Legal Team
- Provide consistent administrative and operational support
Record & Corporate Management
- Maintain and update corporate records and legal files
- Prepare corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, registers, and certificates
- Attend internal meetings and assist with documentation
- Manage filing systems and ensure document accuracy
Document Generation & Legal Support
- Support regulatory processes and internal legal requests
- Assist with due diligence, audits, and compliance activities
- Draft and amend documents related to HR, finance, investors, IP, and trademarks
- Support HR legal documentation and LegalTech platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad)
- Track limitation deadlines and legal schedules
- Monitor global legal developments, particularly in Fintech and Blockchain
- Participate in on-the-job training and support ad-hoc legal tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Law with at least Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) or international equivalent
- Degree must include corporate law or related modules
