Develop and implement innovative and visually compelling design concepts for Pottery Barn products, stores, and marketing materials.
Lead and manage a team of visual designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure high-quality work.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate brand strategies and objectives into effective design solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and continuously bring fresh and creative ideas to the table.
Create and maintain brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all visual assets.
Oversee the production process of design projects, from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective visual communications that align with the brand’s messaging and target audience.
Conduct regular reviews and critiques of team members’ work to provide constructive feedback and ensure designs meet brand standards.
Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to ensure the highest quality of design deliverables.
Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new visual design team members.
Act as a brand ambassador, representing Pottery Barn and its design aesthetic at industry events and conferences.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork within the design team and across departments.
Continuously evaluate and improve the visual design processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of work.
Uphold the brand’s values and ethos in all design work, maintaining a consistent and authentic brand image.
