About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and impact-driven Lead or Staff Data Scientist to join our growing data science organization in Bangkok. In this senior-level role, you will work on high-impact problems across product, growth, and operations while mentoring other scientists and contributing to our overall data strategy.

You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ML solutions and analytics that influence millions of users. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and analytical systems
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities across product, marketing, operations, or user experience using data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define priorities, translate business goals into technical solutions, and deliver measurable impact
  • Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists, foster a strong team culture, and promote best practices in experimentation, modeling, and reproducibility
  • Champion model interpretability, scalability, and reliability in production systems
  • Contribute to company-wide data strategy and innovation initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles, with a strong portfolio of production-level work
  • Proficient in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL
  • Experience with end-to-end ML development — from data wrangling and modeling to deployment and monitoring
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to executives and non-technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in e-commerce, fintech, travel, logistics, or mobile-first platforms
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), causal inference, or recommender systems
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and ML pipeline tools (Airflow, MLflow, etc.)
  • Experience in mentoring or leading a data science team
