Our client, a highly creative and award-winning digital media studio, is seeking a talented and visionary Lead Motion Graphics Designer. Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-quality motion graphics for various platforms, including broadcast, web, social media, and marketing materials. Animate and design graphics, characters, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand messaging. Collaborate closely with directors, art directors, and other creative team members to interpret project briefs and develop creative solutions. Provide art direction and technical guidance to junior motion graphics designers and animators. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in motion graphics and animation. Develop and maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all motion graphics projects. Troubleshoot technical issues related to animation software and rendering pipelines. Contribute to the development of style guides and best practices for motion graphics production. Present creative concepts and final deliverables to clients and internal stakeholders. Optimize motion graphics for various delivery formats and technical requirements. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering creativity and innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related creative field, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, with a significant portion in a lead or senior role. Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and animation. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a strong plus. Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is desirable. Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting. Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Experience directing or mentoring junior designers is highly valued.
