Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join the MI Data and Research Data Science Team at S&P Global. This team is focused on developing cutting-edge data science and generative AI solutions to drive impactful business outcomes.

🔹 Role Overview

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will:

  • Develop and productionize cloud-based services and full-stack applications using .Net, C#, and natural language processing solutions, including generative AI models.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Write unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI/ML models into production.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs.
  • Educate team members to enhance coding standards, test coverage, and documentation.
  • Work in an Agile environment and support experimentation environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operation of services across cross-functional teams.

🔹 Basic Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in full-stack development with .Net and C#.
  • Experience writing high-quality, maintainable code, using unit testing and code reviews.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions.
  • Understanding of message queues and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in front-end web development using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices.
  • Experience with additional cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Understanding of machine learning and working with large language models.
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages.
