Job Description

Project: Weavre – a mobile-first campus social platform and utility “Super App” for university students

Location: Remote

Budget: $500–$800 (Phase 1, fixed-price milestone)

Project Overview

We are building the MVP of our web application. The frontend (~80%) and backend (~50%) are already in progress.

We need a skilled Full Stack Developer to:

  1. Finish the remaining 20% of the Next.js frontend.
  2. Complete the remaining 50% of the Supabase backend, ensuring all logic, RLS policies, and triggers are production-ready.

Crucial: Once the web MVP is stable, we will immediately start building native iOS and Android apps using Flutter. Therefore, all backend logic must reside natively in Supabase (via Edge Functions or Postgres RPCs) so that the Flutter mobile app can share the same backend seamlessly.

Technical Requirements

  • Next.js (React) Expertise: Proven experience finishing, optimizing, and debugging complex web apps.
  • Supabase / Postgres Expertise:
    • Database design and schema optimization
    • Strict RLS policies and secure Edge Functions
    • Triggers, RPCs, and serverless backend logic
  • Full Stack Architecture: Ability to structure a backend that serves both web (React) and mobile (Flutter) clients.
  • Optional: Experience with AI pipelines (Anthropic Claude + pgvector) is a plus for future phases.

Phase 1 Scope

  • Complete remaining frontend screens and flows
  • Finalize backend tables, integration, and policies
  • Ensure secure, maintainable, and scalable architecture compatible with future Flutter apps

Phase 2 (future, not part of this contract):

  • Build AI-powered RAG pipeline for the Educational Hub
