We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Backend Development Engineer to join our growing technical team at Comprise IT Solutions. In this role, you will lead the backend development process, design scalable architectures, and mentor junior developers. You will be responsible for ensuring that backend systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with modern development practices.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage backend development projects from concept to deployment.
  • Design and develop robust APIs and server-side logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, DevOps, and QA.
  • Optimize backend performance and ensure high system reliability.
  • Review code, guide team members, and uphold best coding standards.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Expertise in Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java.
  • Strong experience with Express.js, Django, Laravel, or Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
