Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Amazon Connect Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based contact center solutions built on Amazon Connect and the AWS ecosystem.
In this role, you will act as the technical owner for voice architecture, IVR/contact flows, CTI integrations, analytics, and cloud-native services, while guiding teams through complex migrations and modern, AI-powered enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Own the technical roadmap for Amazon Connect implementations.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud contact center architectures.
- Lead migrations from legacy contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys, LivePerson) to Amazon Connect.
- Lead and mentor a Scrum team of junior and senior developers.
- Define best practices, standards, and architectural patterns.
Development & Integration
- Build and maintain:
- Amazon Connect contact flows
- Amazon Lex bots
- Intelligent routing strategies
- Call recording and transcription solutions
- Integrate Amazon Connect with:
- Salesforce
- ServiceNow
- Custom CRM platforms
- Develop event-driven backend services using:
- AWS Lambda (Node.js / Python)
- EventBridge
- Kinesis
- DynamoDB
- API Gateway
- Implement GenAI-powered solutions leveraging:
- Amazon Bedrock
- OpenAI
- LangChain
- Willing to train and upskill strong technical leads on Amazon Connect if needed.
Operations & Support
- Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
- Perform root cause analysis, post-mortems, and incident response.
- Establish and maintain observability:
- SLIs / SLOs
- Dashboards
- Automated alerts
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional teams.
- Partner with network and security teams to ensure:
- QoS
- IAM best practices
- Regulatory and security compliance
- Deliver self-service reporting and analytics tools for operational stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
