Responsibilities:
– Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape metal materials according to specifications
– Set up and adjust laser cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses
– Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and productivity
– Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:
– Proficient in basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
– Knowledge of tooling and equipment used in laser cutting operations
– Experience with plasma cutting and laser cutting techniques
– Ability to perform quality inspections using tools such as micrometers and gauges
– Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
– Experience programming and operating CNC machines for laser cutting
– Knowledge of press brake machines for bending and fabricating metal materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
