About the JobA well-established law firm is seeking a Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to assist with entitlements and transactions related to land development.The firm’s Land Development Department is recognized for its strong work in representing developers, investors, and other stakeholders across all areas of land development. Projects may include commercial, industrial, mixed-use, and residential developments.ResponsibilitiesPerform due diligence research, including analyzing land use entitlementsPrepare applications such as comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, special exceptions, variances, and related documentsCoordinate with local government staff to process applicationsMaintain critical dates for all applications, due diligence tasks, and project deliverablesOrder, review, and analyze title documents, title requirements, title endorsements, title search reports, inspections, and surveysQualifications3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in land use or real estateExperience working with state or local government agencies preferredProficiency with Windows-based software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to plan and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively under pressure both independently and in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and follow-throughFlexibility to work overtime as neededEducationAssociate Degree requiredKey SkillsParalegal, Land Development
