Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Web Developer specializing in Shopify theme development and customization. You’ll work closely with designers and developers to bring e-commerce designs to life, ensuring exceptional functionality, performance, and user experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to expand their Shopify expertise and grow within a dynamic technical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and customize Shopify themes using the Liquid templating language.
  • Build and maintain reusable Liquid components for scalability and consistency.
  • Implement responsive, mobile-first designs across devices.
  • Collaborate with designers to convert mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive themes.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and accessibility.
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs into Shopify stores.
  • Troubleshoot and debug theme-related issues efficiently.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
  • Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, tools, and ecosystem developments.

Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years of professional web development

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing or customizing Shopify themes.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and API integrations.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-device compatibility.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
