Indiahikes is looking for a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to maintain and enhance our Trekker Registration System, a critical platform managing over 3 lakh trekkers. This role is part-time, remote, and ideal for someone with 4+ years of Java experience who can commit 15–20 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Java expert on this system, you will:

• Develop new features and enhancements.
• Maintain, deploy, and ensure smooth operations with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently.
• Implement security measures to protect applications.
• Document technical specifications, manuals, and workflows.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with understanding of its ecosystem.
• Familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Basic knowledge of Java class loading mechanisms.
• Experience with embedded and external databases.
• Implementing security best practices.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
