Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Software Developer to join our Radar domain team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust software components for mission-critical radar systems, operating 24/7 under extreme environmental conditions.

You will be part of a diverse, agile team of engineers, computer scientists, and physicists, contributing to high-quality software in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Java software components following architectural standards and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects and team members to shape implementation strategies.
  • Write unit, component, and integration tests to ensure reliable software.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
  • Produce and maintain documentation in a regulated environment.
  • Engage in whiteboard discussions and knowledge-sharing activities to foster team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Java Software Developer (C++ knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Java, modern development tools, and practices: Spring, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Bazel, Linux.
  • Experience designing and maintaining robust, testable, and high-performance software systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Professional-level fluency in English (Danish is a plus).
  • Ability to obtain security clearance by the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, meeting required residency and security criteria.
