Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, enhance, and maintain backend services and APIs powering core applications, including data integrations and reporting features.
- Build robust application logic and business rules that address real-world client needs.
- Write clean, modular, and efficient Java code aligned with best practices.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with analysts, application owners, and UI engineers for end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Stay engaged by asking questions and contributing ideas to drive continuous growth.
Problem Solving & Maintenance
- Maintain and support existing offerings, focusing on full user experience.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
- Improve platform stability, performance, and security.
- Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities while adhering to modern best practices.
- Document processes and contribute to internal tools and shared team knowledge.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1–3 years of Java development or strong internship experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Spring or Hibernate (a plus).
- Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
- Comfortable using Git and working in an Agile environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
- Must like dogs (office perk!).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $117,000 – $135,000 (reflects location, experience, and qualifications).
- Eligible for variable incentive compensation.
