Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support Johnson & Johnson’s procurement technology initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP Ariba platform integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java development, Ariba ITK integration, and a solid understanding of procurement workflows and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and test application enhancements based on evolving project requirements.
  • Modify and enhance existing frameworks to support new functionalities and cloud migration objectives.
  • Conduct technical feasibility analysis for new requirements and provide effort estimates.
  • Configure and manage SAP Ariba ITK (Integration Toolkit) for data import/export operations.
  • Develop code following Java coding standards using technologies such as Servlets, JSP, and Spring.
  • Deploy and manage EAR files on WebLogic servers and support full application lifecycle.
  • Design and implement scheduled tasks for bulk data operations (e.g., RDB inserts, eMarketplace downloads).
  • Build custom Servlets and JSPs for ad-hoc reporting and enhanced user interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues within defined timelines, ensuring minimal impact.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba technical integration, including ITK and requisition workflows.
  • Proficiency in WebLogic, Tomcat, Eclipse, JIRA, and version control tools like SVN/GIT.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
