Role Summary

The Java Developer-SDE II will drive the development of a world-class, carrier-agnostic SaaS logistics platform. The platform digitalizes logistics by integrating and optimizing business processes, providing predictability, and improving efficiency. This is a full-stack engineering role for developers who enjoy experimenting with new technologies and solving critical business problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development & Deployment
    • Build, test, and deploy scalable solutions impacting millions of users.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; own bug fixes and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Architecture & System Design
    • Participate in system analysis, design, and architecture for the entire platform.
    • Refactor both backend and frontend layers to improve resilience, scalability, and availability.
    • Ensure nonfunctional requirements such as serviceability, usability, and performance are addressed.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Engage with product management to convert business problems into technical solutions.
    • Create technical documentation and ensure team members understand task assignments and deliverables.
    • Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Collaborate with automation teams to define testing requirements for full coverage.
    • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and maintain high standards for quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in backend technical design, software development, and scalable platform architecture.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
    • Cloud Platforms: GCP or AWS
    • DevOps & CI/CD: Maven, Ansible, GitLab
    • Project Tools: JIRA
