As a Java Developer, you’ll collaborate with talented engineers from Europe and the Philippines while working on advanced technologies including:

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain application features
• Build scalable backend services using Java
• Contribute to frontend functionality when needed
• Ensure features meet both technical and business requirements

Engineering Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend and backend engineers
• Participate in architecture discussions
• Support testing, integration, and deployment activities

Code Quality & Reviews

• Actively participate in the code review process
• Maintain high development standards
• Provide constructive feedback to team members

Ownership & Problem Solving

• Take ownership of assigned modules and services
• Identify and resolve system issues
• Collaborate with global teams on improvements and innovations

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Java
  • SQL
  • Spring Framework
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Understanding of software design patterns
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Knowledge of engineering practices such as:
  • CI/CD
  • Code reviews
  • Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Continuous improvement
• Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with MyBatis
• Frontend development knowledge including:
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Angular
• Familiarity with Jira
