Role Overview

The company is seeking a Java Developer with hands-on experience in full-stack backend development, microservices, and cloud environments. This is a remote, W2-only role directly with the client, with career growth potential and H-1B sponsorship support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
  • Implement unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, and ensure CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Maven.
  • Utilize Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to deploy and manage applications.
  • Participate in coding tests and maintain high-quality, production-ready code.

Required Skills

  • 3–5+ years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST APIs, JSON.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Eligible for H-1B sponsorship or H-1B transfer.
