Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to modify and recompile an existing SCT-35 module for compatibility with Wowza Streaming Engine. The current module runs on an 8-minute interval and needs to be optimized to operate on a 4-minute interval while maintaining stable functionality within the streaming workflow.

This role is ideal for developers experienced in Java-based media server integrations and module compilation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Modify the existing 8-minute SCT-35 module to function on a 4-minute timing interval
  • Recompile the module in Java to ensure compatibility with Wowza
  • Review and adjust the existing logic where required
  • Test the compiled module within the streaming environment
  • Ensure the module performs reliably without impacting the streaming pipeline
  • Document the changes and provide the updated compiled version

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java development
  • Understanding of Java module compilation and debugging
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Familiarity with media streaming systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and deliver within a short timeline
