Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled developer to design and implement a high-performance bridge architecture connecting our Java backend with a WordPress frontend. The project focuses on creating mobile-ready API endpoints that ensure seamless, secure, and scalable communication between the two platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java development, API design, and WordPress integrations, with a focus on performance optimization and maintainable, high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a bridge architecture linking Java backend services with WordPress frontend.
• Create mobile-ready API endpoints to support seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Optimize data flow, API performance, and scalability.
• Integrate WordPress plugins and custom endpoints with backend services.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across Java and WordPress platforms.
• Ensure security, reliability, and maintainability of the integration.
• Document architecture, API specifications, and implementation details.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth end-to-end system operation.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred)
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with microservices or modular backend architectures

Frontend & WordPress

• Experience with WordPress plugin development, theme customization, and API integrations
• Knowledge of PHP and WordPress REST API
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

General Skills

• Mobile-friendly API design and performance optimization
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience connecting enterprise Java backends with CMS platforms
• Familiarity with caching strategies, load balancing, and scalability improvements
• Knowledge of OAuth/JWT authentication for APIs
• Exposure to cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
