Job Summary

Droisys is looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, WebSockets, Data Structures & Algorithms, JPA, and Linux.

In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliable communication across distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build scalable and high-performance backend components for enterprise applications.
  • Implement and maintain microservices-based architectures.

Event Streaming & Messaging

  • Implement Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.
  • Build reliable event-driven services that support large-scale applications.

Real-Time Communication

  • Utilize WebSockets to enable efficient, real-time communication between client and server.
  • Ensure low latency and reliable data transfer.

Performance & Optimization

  • Design and optimize data structures and algorithms for performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Database & Backend Systems

  • Work with JPA and ORM frameworks to manage database interactions.
  • Ensure efficient query execution and database optimization.

Infrastructure & Environment

  • Develop and maintain applications in Linux environments.
  • Write shell scripts and troubleshoot system-level issues when needed.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 and Java 17).
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time communication.
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Experience with JPA / ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
