We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist (Applications Development) to design, develop, and maintain internet and intranet applications while leading development teams throughout the full software lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain web-based internet and intranet applications
  • Lead and guide development teams through the application lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Design intuitive user interfaces for web applications
  • Establish development priorities, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables
  • Conduct system testing to ensure performance and functionality
  • Troubleshoot production and development issues across platforms
  • Create technical documentation and user support materials
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
  • Provide leadership support and contribute to team collaboration

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in applications development or related IT field
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • Proficiency in web programming languages and frameworks
  • Experience with software testing and validation processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications (e.g., web development, cloud, or IT certifications)
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government environments
  • Familiarity with multi-platform deployments and integrations
