About the Role
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist (Applications Development) to design, develop, and maintain internet and intranet applications while leading development teams throughout the full software lifecycle. You will play a key role in establishing development priorities, coordinating requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise applications aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain web-based internet and intranet applications
- Lead and guide development teams through the application lifecycle (SDLC)
- Design intuitive user interfaces for web applications
- Establish development priorities, methodologies, and frameworks
- Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables
- Conduct system testing to ensure performance and functionality
- Troubleshoot production and development issues across platforms
- Create technical documentation and user support materials
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
- Provide leadership support and contribute to team collaboration
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 4+ years of experience in applications development or related IT field
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Proficiency in web programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with software testing and validation processes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
(or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications (e.g., web development, cloud, or IT certifications)
- Experience supporting enterprise or government environments
- Familiarity with multi-platform deployments and integrations
